FRANKLIN
Ronald L. Mogle, 74, of Franklin, passed Friday, July 15, 2016.
He was born Aug. 8, 1941, in New Castle to Robert and Margaret Ellen (Norman) Mogle. He married Leah Rae (Stevens) Mogle on Nov. 14, 1959, in Indianapolis; she survives.
He retired after 37 years of service as a foreman for Navistar, formerly known as International Harvester in Indianapolis. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 98, where he had served as union steward and committeeman. He enjoyed hot rods, hunting and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Leah Rae (Stevens) Mogle of Franklin; two daughters, Leah Rae Pearcy (Scott) of Knightstown and Cindi Martin (Scott) of Trafalgar; three brothers, Bob Mogle (Sally) of Sebring, Florida, Tim Mogle (Dorothy) of Indianapolis and Norm Mogle of Indianapolis; a half-sister, Charlene Swails of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
