The public is invited to help paint a new mural in Franklin.
The Johnson County Community Foundation is hosting the second “Color the County” Mural painting day on July 30 in Franklin.
Everyone is welcome to make their contribution to a mural in downtown Franklin. The painting session will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon on the west side of the courthouse annex building, where the Farmers Market takes place.
The event also will have coloring books, paint sets and face painting for kids, plus easy-to-follow instructions to add your contribution to the mural. No artistic talent is necessary.
