GREENWOOD
Dale James Roberts Jr., 77, passed away July 6, 2016. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He was born Aug. 5, 1938, in Indianapolis to the late Dale Roberts Sr. and Stella Roberts.
His memory and legacy carry on through his wife of 52 years, Diana Roberts; son, Ken (Merry Ann) Lewellyn; grandchildren, James Beach and Jessica Wright; and great-grandson, Craven Wright; and brothers, David (Diane) Roberts and Tom Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Roberts.
Dale was a member of Prince of Peace United Church of Christ.
He also was an active volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House of Riley Hospital and the Johnson County Interchurch Food Pantry.
A celebration of Dale’s life will take place at 2 p.m. July 30 at Prince of Peace United Church of Christ, 3050 W. Smokey Row Road, Bargersville.
Memorial contributions are suggested in Dale’s memory to the church or the Ronald McDonald House of Riley Hospital.
Arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis.
