Paul Edwin Garten, 96, of Southport, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
He is survived by his children, Sandra Louise (Ferguson) Garten of Greenwood, and Jerry Edwin (Ferguson) Garten; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Neva (Young) Ferguson.
Services for will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the mortuary. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 3:30 p.m. Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
