Teen driver crashes into area restaurant

A Greenwood teen was not injured when he drove his car into the side of a fast food restaurant.

Peter Albin, 16, was parking his car at the Taco Bell located at 3042 W. Stones Crossing Road when he accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, according to the accident report.

When Albin’s car went over a concrete barrier he panicked and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake again, driving his car into the side of the building, according to the report.

The accident Saturday caused damage to both the front of Albin’s car and the side of the restaurant, according to the report.
