Marilyn Sue (Raisor) Squillace

WHITELAND

Marilyn Sue (Raisor) Squillace, of Whiteland, passed away Friday, July 9, 2016, in her home with her loving family at her side.

Marilyn was born in Indianapolis on April 18, 1952, to Dan and Mable Raisor.

She married Frank G. Squillace Jr. on March 15, 1969, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

Marilyn was originally from the east side of Indianapolis and graduated from Emmerich Manual High School.

Marilyn worked for Clark Pleasant School Corp. as a bus driver and in the Whiteland Elementary cafeteria for almost 30 years.

Marilyn touched the lives of all who knew her.

Marilyn was kind, considerate, giving, loving and loveable. She was an altruist with a gentle spirit, always thinking of others.

Marilyn loved flowers, gardening, camping, the outdoors, auctions, day trips, and spoiling her family — especially her grandchildren and dogs.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Frank G. Squillace Jr.; three sons, Frank Squillace III (Edie), Matthew Squillace (Azur) and Nicholas Squillace (Constance), her daughter, Katie Squillace (Sean); 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Cindy Yates (David).

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; two babies; and one sister, Carol Chamberlain.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Arrangements entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel.
