Investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a boy caught on surveillance video stealing cartons of cigarettes.
The thefts were reported Wednesday from the Speedway gas station at 5061 W. Smith Valley Road. An employee said a boy, who looked to be about 15 years old, came to the store twice Tuesday, went into the manager’s office and stole cigarettes, according to the report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
In total, he got six cartons of cigarettes, the report said.
Surveillance video caught the boy on camera, and now investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying him.
