A Greenwood man was charged with child molesting after police said he performed sex acts on a 6-year-old boy.
William L. Brenner, 49, 736 S. Restin Road, was charged with four counts of child molesting and one count of dissemination of matter harmful to minors.
Between October 2014 and March 2015, the boy told police that Brenner had touched him inappropriately, and he was also forced to touch Brenner on multiple occasions, according to court records.
The boy told police Brenner had told him not to tell anyone what happened, the records said.
Brenner also showed the boy pornographic videos and pictures and had the boy take pictures and video of Brenner naked, the records said.
Police searched Brenner’s home, and also interviewed him. Brenner told police he had touched the boy inappropriately on more than one occasion, the records said.
Brenner was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was held on $160,000 bond.
