In January, Rogers was arrested after an off-duty deputy spotted her leaving a Greenwood store with a cart full of merchandise. An employee was running after her, saying the items were stolen.

The deputy tried to stop Rogers, who dragged him with her vehicle, before fleeing.

Greenwood police chased Rogers, and the pursuit ended in a retention pond. Rogers then broke into an apartment, before she was arrested, police said.
