Franklin police are investigating after a florist shop was burglarized over the weekend.
Police were called to Coffman Florist, off U.S. 31 in Northwood Plaza, just after 10 p.m. Sunday. A neighboring business owner had noticed the door was not fully closed at the florist shop and contacted the owner, according to the police report.
When the owner’s husband arrived, he found the cash drawer on the floor and called police, the report said.
Cash, a laptop, a phone and keys to a truck were stolen, the report said.
Evidence was collected from inside the shop, and police are investigating, the report said.
