Property-damage accident

9:38 p.m. Thursday — Main Street and Highland Avenue.

Theft

2800 block of U.S. 31: A man reported at 4:39 p.m. Thursday that someone stole a firearm from his residence.

Criminal mischief

300 block of E. Monroe Street: A man reported at 1:13 p.m. Thursday that someone threw a rock over his fence. The rock hit a work vehicle.

Fraud

200 block of E. Methodist Drive: A woman reported at 9:06 a.m. Thursday that she had been receiving social media messages from a man asking her to open an IRA account. The messages were thought to be fraudulent.

Thefts

• 100 block of Crossroads Drive: Police responded at 2:31 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.
• 500 block of Gooseberry Lane: Police responded at 7:07 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

Criminal mischief

• 500 block of Stobus Drive: Police responded at 8:14 a.m. Thursday to a report of rocks thrown at a vehicle, damaging windows.
• 700 block of Morgan Way: Police responded at 9:31 a.m. Tuesday to a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.
• Freedom Springs, 850 W. Stop 18 Road: Police responded at 1:16 p.m. Thursday to a report of a damaged vehicle.

4:44 p.m. Thursday — State Road 135N, and Sable Ridge Drive.

Johnson County

Thefts

• 2000 block of Linda Lane, Greenwood: A woman reported at 9:25 a.m. Thursday that a ring was missing from her vehicle.
• Sleep N’ Time Motel, 2540 S. U.S. 31, Franklin: The owner reported at 11:19 a.m. Thursday that a couple staying in one of their rooms stole a television, microwave, refrigerator and bedding.

Traffic investigation

S. State Road 37 and W. State Road 144, Greenwood: An officer pulled a motorist over at 11:54 p.m. Thursday for crossing the center line. A female passenger was arrested after drugs and paraphernalia were found on her body.

Personal injury accident

8:40 a.m. Thursday — County Road 100N, and County Road 425W, Bargersville. Pam L. McWethy, 59, Morgantown. McWethy reported chest pain.
