EDINBURGH
Rosetta A. Rhude, 80, of Edinburgh, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Franciscan St. Francis Health-Indianapolis.
She was born Feb. 26, 1936, in Green County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Clyde and Delta Jane (Burton) Warren.
She married James “Buster” Huber Jr. on Sept. 25, 1954. He preceded her in death Nov. 19, 1986.
She then married David K. Rhude on Aug. 26, 1988. He preceded her in death Sept. 8, 2011.
She is survived by a son, Glenn (Connie) Huber of Franklin, a daughter, Martha Huber of Edinburgh; a brother, Bobby Joe (Shirley) Warren of Orlando, Florida; a sister, Ruby McGaha of Nineveh; two grandchildren, Chad (Gwen) Huber, and Julie (Chris) Barnes; and six great-grandchildren, Abigail, Lauren, Ashley, Alice, Brooklyn and Marcus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a daughter, Debbie Huber; and a sister, Rachel Metcalf.
She was a 1954 graduate of Edinburgh High School and a member of Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and listening to bluegrass music. Her smile and laugh will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church by Rev. Mike Whited. Calling will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at the church and from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Memorial contribution may be made to Johnson County Humane Society.
