A Franklin police officer’s squad car was damaged during a crash Monday night.
The driver of the other vehicle complained of shoulder pain and was taken to the hospital by his parents, Franklin police said.
The Franklin officer, Kody Martin, was not injured. He was on duty at the time of the crash, Franklin police deputy chief Chris Tennell said.
Both vehicles had substantial damage, Tennell said.
The accident happened at the intersection of Westview Drive and Jefferson Street about 10:30 p.m. Monday and is under investigation. Both drivers said they had a green light to proceed through the intersection.
