Robert Gibson, 78, of Taylorsville, died on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
He is survived by two daughters, LaVerne Whiteside of Coal City and Debora Lynn Gibson of Columbus; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean (Marshall) Gibson; and two sons, John Gibson and Robert Lee Gibson.
The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Guy Hardin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Calling will be from 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
