  • Thank you Hometown Realty, Horizon Bank, Generations Custom Auto and Collision, Huddleston and Huddleston Law Firm and Schwartz Family Community Mortuary on your sponsorship for our Strawberries on the Square event. We would like to thank our volunteers including Franklin United Methodist Home, Morning Pointe, Johnson County Museum of History and Franklin Active Adult Center for cutting the berries. Special thanks to our musicians, Jay Shively, Roger Acton and Soul Sauce Trio for adding to the atmosphere and all who joined us. A huge thank you to Linda Norton for organizing — we are grateful for the many hours you devote.

  • Happy, humble hearts to Elli Ison, Hannah Brewington, Jared Canary and Danijel Hrvat for producing the amazing video documentary on Proctor Memorial Park. These four were students in the Whiteland Community High School Advanced radio/TV program, and did the video as a special project for the Town of New Whiteland. It is beautifully and professionally done and perfectly conveys the story of courage, sacrifice, honor, respect and gratitude that embody Proctor Park. The video may be seen on the home page of the town’s website www.newwhiteland.in.gov
