Audrey (Coslett) Spicer

FRANKLIN

Audrey (Coslett) Spicer, 89, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.

She was born on July 3, 1926, in Clinton to George Coslett and Helen Jane (Reeve) Coslett.

She married Stanley D. Spicer on Dec. 8, 1943, in Franklin. He survives.

Other survivors include her children, Stanley R. (Anne) Spicer of Taylorsville, Steven H. (Jenny) Spicer of Arcadia, Susan Lynne (Myron) Harden of Franklin and Alan D. (Susan) Spicer of Greenwood. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; and brother, Don Coslett.

Audrey was employed by the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin as an administrative secretary.

She was a lifelong member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin. She was a member of the Franklin Chapter, Order of Eastern Star No. 439; and the Kappa Kappa Sigma sorority where she was a charter member and a past president.

A celebration of Audrey’s life will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
