Shoplifting

Dollar General, 1872 Northwood Plaza: Police responded at 7:24 p.m. Wednesday to a report that a woman stole about $82 worth of merchandise from the store. She was arrested.

Thefts

• Walmart, 2125 U.S. 31 North: A woman reported at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday that someone entered her vehicle and stole a digital navigation system and diaper bag.
• 800 block of Franklin Lakes Boulevard: Police responded at 8:18 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.

Fraud

800 block of W. Jefferson Street: A man reported at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday from a man purporting to be from the IRS. The call was fraudulent.

• 8:48 p.m. Wednesday — Westview Drive and U.S. 31.
• 11:45 a.m. Wednesday — 2300 block of Bridlewood Drive.
• 8:45 a.m. Wednesday — First block of Home Avenue.
• 4:47 a.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and Lancer Drive.

800 block of Ellington Circle: Police responded at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday to a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.

• 8:57 p.m. Friday — Smith Valley Road and U.S 31 South. Taylor Matthews, 18, Indianapolis, Steve Shotts, 39, Greenwood and Earl Sandlin, 49, Indianapolis. Passenger Mary Carson, 19, Indianapolis, reported head pain.
• 3:22 p.m. Friday — U.S. 31 South and Timberline Drive. Dustin Schreiber, 38, Indianapolis, Dena M. Hasler, 44, Columbus, Noemi Gallegos, 38, Greenwood, Judy Nann, 68, Martinsville. Nann reported back pain.
• 12:01 p.m. Friday — County Line Road and Interstate 65. Gabriel P. Houston, 21, Indianapolis and June Marsischky, 18, Rushville. Marsischky reported neck pain.
