Battery

1100 block of Hospital Road: A man reported at 8:14 p.m. Tuesday that an acquaintance smacked him, scratched him, pinned him to the bed and prevented him from calling police. The acquaintance was arrested.

Thefts

2000 block of E. Benjamin Street: A woman reported at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday that the title to her vehicle is missing.

1400 block of Lochry Road: A woman reported at 7:12 a.m. Wednesday that three vehicles on her property were entered. About $40 was stolen between all of the vehicles.

Counterfeiting

McDonald’s, 1139 U.S. 31 North: An employee reported at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday that a woman paid with two counterfeit $5 bills. The woman received the bills from her husband who got them at a Franklin gas station.

Vandiver Spirits, 295 U.S. 31 North: A man reported at 4:59 p.m. Tuesday that he was given a fake $20 bill.

Personal-injury accident

9:30 p.m. Tuesday — U.S. 31 and Earlywood Drive. Trisheena L. Keen, 27, Indianapolis and Christine Bowen, 44, Whiteland. Bowen reported chest pain. Keen reported neck pain.

Property-damage accident

7:40 a.m. Tuesday — Cincinnati Street and Yandes Street.

Counterfeiting

Village Pantry, 899 E. Main St.; Police responded at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday to a report of counterfeiting.

Shoplifting

JC Penney, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday to a report of shoplifting. A juvenile was arrested.

Criminal mischief

800 block of Kings Mill Road: Police responded at 3:09 p.m. Tuesday to a report of criminal mischief .

Attempted crime

700 block of Leatherwood Court: Police responded at 11:26 a.m. Tuesday to a report that someone attempted to break into a tool shed.

Theft

1200 block of Paradise Court: Police responded at 8:51 a.m. Tuesday to a report of theft of a handgun.

Burglary

First block of Hazy Court, Greenwood: A man reported at 11:18 a.m. Tuesday that someone broke into his mini barn and stole a lawn mower and generator.

Personal-injury accident

10:27 p.m. Tuesday — County Road 100N., and Combs Road. Trevor Peterson, 18, Indianapolis and Christopher K. Korvah, 23, Indianapolis. Passenger Collin McIntosh, 19, Indianapolis. McIntosh reported chest pain.

Alexander Earl Williamson, 20, 1127 Londonerry Lane, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $500 bond.

Christina Fawn Williams, 31, 9001 Sweetwater Trail, Nineveh; arrested on charges of possession of an injection device to interact with drug or alcohol screening; released on $250 bond.

David Milton Mason Jr., 50, 8344 Sweetwater Trail, Nineveh; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; released on $350 bond.

Ashley Elizabeth Kay Taylor, 22, 1891 Eastwood St., Greenwood; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; held without bond.

Billy Lee Nevins, 53, 3202 Beauman St., Bridgeton; arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court; held without bond.

Matthew Edmondson, 42, 104 Hancock Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; released on $1,200 bond.

Ronald Henderson, 54, 1322 Countryside Drive, Apt. B, Greenwood; arrested on warrants for failure to appear in court; held on $716 bond.

Brody David Fischer, 23, 247 W. Bristol St., Elkhart; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; released on $500 bond.

Jeffrey Scott Hornaday, 34, 7580 Cimmaron Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of theft/receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and restricted use of a drug injection device; held on $3,600 bond.

Mabel Anne Blankenship, 60, 1199 Hospital Road, Lot 118, Franklin; arrested on charges of battery, criminal confinement and interference in reporting a crime; released on $3,200 bond.

April Hines, 31, 2001 N. Goodel Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on charges of false reporting or informing, theft/receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and restricted use of a drug injection device; held on $4,600 bond.
