Martha Elaine (Vint) Page, 67, of Martinsville, passed peacefully at her home Tuesday, June 21, 2016, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Martha was born Nov. 9, 1948, in Indianapolis, to the late Carson and Mabel (Rupert) Vint.

After attending Center Grove High School, Martha married Gary Page on July 13, 1965. He survives. They were married 50 years.

Martha enjoyed attending her grandkids’ sporting events, researching her family ancestry, fishing at the Painted Hills lakes, and sending unexpected notes of encouragement to many people.

She fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting Israel in 2005.

Martha’s life was focused around her faith and family. She was part of the pioneering family that started Hoosier Harvest Church in her living room with nine people in June of 1994.

She spent much of her time organizing prayer initiatives for the church as well as serving as the children’s director in its early stages.

Martha was the definition of a true matriarch to her three sons and 10 grandchildren. Her sons are Tad Page and wife, Amy, of Columbus, Ohio, Chris Page and wife, Dana, of Martinsville, and Wes Page and wife, Cassie, of Martinsville. Her heritage of grandchildren range from 21 years old to 6 months old and include Kaley Page, Keelan Page, Jack Campbell, Eric Campbell, Luke Page, Nolan Page, Trey Page, Jonah Page, Ashton Caywood and Finley Page.

Martha also was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Vint of Bloomington and Joanne Raper of Tucson, Arizona.

Visitation hours will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoosier Harvest Church, 4085 Leonard Road, Martinsville. A celebration/tribute service will be conducted by Pastor Chris Page at 7 p.m. Friday at Hoosier Harvest Church. A private graveside service will take place at Nebo Memorial Park.
