”COLOR THE COUNTY”: BARGERSVILLE, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 25, 10 S. Baldwin St., Bargersville, artist winner Amber Berninger’s mural designs will be painted. Berninger, is the owner of Berninger Fine Art in Bargersville. The Johnson County Community Foundation “Color the County” Mural Program joins artists and communities through the collaborative process of mural making to create powerful artworks. TRAFALGAR AND MONARCH BUTTERFLY WAY STATION HIKE, 10 a.m., June 27, Trafalgar Library, 424 Tower St., Trafalgar, visit the official monarch way station located at the Trafalgar library. The library’s prairie garden provides milkweeds, nectar sources and shelter needed to sustain monarch butterflies as they migrate through North America. Then continue hike by walking into Trafalgar. Plan on 5 miles, 3.5 which will be paved. Lunch afterwards. Information available at indyhike.org.
