GREENWOOD
Charles Wendell Adams, 88, of Greenwood, died on Sunday, June 19, 2016, in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Violet June (Mitchell) Adams of Greenwood; two daughters, Vickie Kauffman and Margaret (Charles) Behler of Indianapolis; stepchildren, Loretta (Paul) Dausch of Bargersville, Leona Shepard of Indianapolis, Patricia (Gary) Rebennak and Cathy Thompson, both of Greenwood, and Laura (Simon) Ross of Greenfield; 21 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel with the funeral service following at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Rocklane Cemetery in Greenwood.
