Help Haiti school, church at cookout
Our Lady of the Greenwood, 335 S. Meridian St., Greenwood will host the church’s annual Hearts for Haiti Freedom cookout and beer/wine garden June 25. Festivities start at 6 p.m.Food and drinks will be for sale. There will be a seating area, music and an area to watch fireworks later in the evening.
Admission is free. All profits will go to support St. Georges School and parish in Bassin-Bleu, Haiti, and nearby mountain schools of the parish.

Public invited to fireworks show
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1300 S. Morton St., Franklin invites residents to the church to watch fireworks on the grass of the church property July 3.The parking lot and the lawn will be open. Popcorn, hot dogs and free water will be available.
