See what’s buzzing with bee workshops

A local bee expert is teaching local residents how to appreciate and cultivate bees in their own neighborhoods this summer.

Roger Graham, owner of Graham’s Bee Works, taught a backyard beekeeping class this week at the Franklin library, and two more upcoming programs will continue the buzz.

On June 21, Graham will discuss the health benefits of keeping honeybees and products from the hive.

From the relaxation of watching the honeybees work to Honey Bee venom therapy, Graham will talk about ways Apitherapy can improve your life.

On June 28, Graham will show how beeswax is ideal for making many natural beauty products. Learn how to make beeswax lip balm during the demonstration.

All classes are at the Franklin library, 401 State St.
