GREENWOOD
John Stephen “Steve” Ralls, 66, died Monday at his home in Greenwood.
Born June 29, 1949, in Indianapolis, he was the son of John Farrell Ralls and Laura Fern (Julian) Ralls.
Steve graduated from Danville Community High School in 1967. He went on to work at Indiana National Bank for nearly 20 years, where he met his wife, Bonnie Sue (Smith) Ralls, before taking early retirement to raise his family.
Steve and Bonnie were married March 23, 1986, and celebrated their 30th anniversary earlier this year. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend who will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Greenwood; son, Eric (fiancee Megan Wolfgram), daughter, Crystal (Chris) Henry, and two grandsons, Connor and Carson Henry, all of Carmel; sister, Barbara Ralls (Amy Ira) of Bloomington; and mother-in-law, Juanita Smith of Martinsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Laura Ralls.
Services and visitation will be at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday before the services begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
