INDIANAPOLIS
William Johns Sr., 78, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016.
Survivors include his son, William Johns Jr.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Carol Shelton Johns; and three daughters, Lori Shannon Cox, Catherine Thornburg and Sandra Johns.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 Hanna Ave., Indianapolis. Burial will be at Washington Park East Mausoleum. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with a masonic service at 7:30 p.m. conducted by the Englewood Masonic Lodge No. 715 F. & A. M.
