Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that crashed into a ditch outside of Franklin.
Just after midnight Wednesday, deputies were called to the intersection of County Road 100N and County Road 700E, east of Franklin. A vehicle had gone off the road and into a field and then a ditch, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
No one was inside the vehicle when deputies found it. Deputies could smell alcohol inside and also found marijuana inside the vehicle, the report said.
Deputies know who the vehicle is registered to, the report said.
The vehicle was towed, and the sheriff’s office is investigating.
