EDINBURGH
Glen A. Wilcoxson, 79, of Edinburgh, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He was born Dec. 19, 1936, in Hart County, Kentucky.
He was the son of Virgil Allen and Ruth (Geralds) Wilcoxson.
He married Dolores (Byard) Wilcoxson on Jan. 5, 1957.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Yancy (Laura) Wilcoxson of West Lafayette; daughters, Ginny (Richard) Holmes of LaConia, New Hampshire and Vicki (Michael) Troyer of Fort Wayne; a brother, Phillip (Bonnie) Wilcoxson of Edinburgh; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He retired from Cummins Engine Co. in 1990 after 33 years of service.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is also a member of the Edinburgh Lancer Athletic Hall Of Fame.
A funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Sean Johnson at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven cemetery in Edinburgh.
