Burglary

800 block of Solomon Drive: Police responded at 11:15 a.m. Monday to a report of burglary.

Criminal mischief

1000 block of Torino Lane: Police responded at 6:11 p.m. Monday to a report of a juvenile fighting with other youth and throwing eggs at houses and a boy. The juveniles were apprehended by police.

Fraud

Report made at police department, 2801 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 12:01 p.m. Monday to an individual’s report of a scam. The victim received a phone call from someone claiming that an “internet security” refund was owed to the victim and the only way to get him the money was through sending a prepaid debit card in the amount of $700 and the suspect would send $1,200 back through a PayPal account. The money was sent to the scammer and nothing was received in return.

Thefts

Fox’s Den Self Storage, 2660 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 2:51 p.m. Monday to a report of tools, a car battery, fishing rods and other items stolen from a storage unit.

1000 block of Wild Ivy Trail: Police responded at 2:05 p.m. Monday to a report of theft from an unlocked vehicle. Registration and loose change were stolen.

Fox’s Den Self Storage: Police responded at 2660 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 11:57 a.m. Monday to a report of a burglarized storage unit. A lock was cut off the unit and a television, jewelry boxes and other items were stolen.

300 block of Ohio Street: Police responded at 10:12 a.m. Monday to a report of items stolen from a home under foreclosure.

1600 block of Black Oak Lane: Police responded at 9:19 a.m. Monday to a report of a home burglary in which medication was stolen.

Kohls, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 2:49 p.m. Monday to a report of shoplifting. A man was issued a summons to appear.

Endress and Hauser, 2413 Endress Place: Police responded at 1:18 p.m. Monday to a report of stolen pallets taken from a dumpster.

Johnson Memorial Hospital, 1125 W. Jefferson St., Franklin: Police responded at 7:55 p.m. Monday to a report of a stolen cellphone charger.
