Rosemary M. “Rosie” McCotter Dooley, 78, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
She was born in Indianapolis on Aug. 31, 1937, to John Joseph and Clara Maney McCotter.
Rosie was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy and worked for AT&T for 33 years before retiring as a manager.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Esther Nontel and Catherine Butler; and her brothers, James and Patrick McCotter.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Relford; her brother, William McCotter; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Rosie was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend who was loved and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Roch Catholic Church, where Rosie was a member. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Institute for Cancer Research.
