Go, go, go see ‘Joseph’

Young theater talent takes the stage at Lutheran High School this weekend in a production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

More than 100 local kids are involved in the Center Grove Fine Arts Academy, a ministry of Center Grove Church.

The four shows premiering Friday and running through Sunday will include a live orchestra. The story follows the Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors, told in a musical parable. Joseph is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures and challenges, according to the church website.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 at the door.
