Patty Lou Yaste

NOBLESVILLE

Patty Lou Yaste, 78, of Noblesville, and formerly of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016. She was born on Sept. 3, 1937, in Muncie, the daughter of George and Inez Cole.

Patty was a graduate of Ball State University, and earned her master’s degree from Indiana University.

Patty was a math and science teacher, and taught school for many years in Edinburgh.

While living in Cape Coral, Patty also worked for Publix supermarkets.

She loved traveling, taking cruises, bowling and was a talented seamstress.

Patty is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Yaste. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Craig Edling of Evansville; her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Anne Yaste of Noblesville, and Jon and Missy Yaste of Greenwood, and her son, Brett Yaste. Patty is also survived by her grandchildren, Steven Edling, Damian Edling, Phillip Edling, Abigail Yaste, Megan Yaste and Troy Yaste; her great-grandchildren, Brianna Edling, Olive Edling and Smith Edling; her niece, Judy Barnes; and her faithful canine companion, “Adrey.”

As were Patty’s wishes, there will be no services, and cremation will be accorded.
