Exhibitors needed for this summer’s fair

Bakers, quilters, home canners, crafters and gardeners of all ages are invited to have their work viewed and judged.

Organizers of the Johnson County 4-H and Agricultural Fair are looking for open class exhibitors.

Exhibitors in open class can be any Johnson County resident of any age. Their work will be exhibited at the fair and cash prizes come with some prize winners.

People wanting to put their items in open class should drop their items off at the following times:

Open class crop exhibits are due between 8 and 9:15 a.m. July 15 in Fitzpatrick Hall.

Open class horticulture/garden exhibits are due between 8 and 11 a.m. July 16  in Fitzpatrick Hall.

Open Class craft/food exhibits in Scott Hall may be checked in at the Northeast Door on:

  • 6 to 8 p.m. July 15
  • 9 to to 11 a.m. July 16
