1700 block of Doub Street: Police responded at 4:21 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft of a lawn mower.
JC Penney, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday to a report of two men grabbing two rings from a display and running. The combined worth of the rings was $4,000.

MJ Diesel, 457 Knight Drive, Greenwood: A man reported at 10:46 a.m. Tuesday that someone stole his truck.
2400 block of Baywood Court, Greenwood: A man reported at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday that two of his wife’s rings were missing.
700 block of Macalpin Street, Greenwood: A woman reported at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday that a trailer was missing from her property.
Traffic offense
U.S. 31 North and Mallory Parkway, Franklin: An officer stopped a motorist because the car didn’t have headlights at 1:32 a.m. Wednesday. The car was registered as stolen and the driver was arrested.
