3 injured in accident near Camp Atterbury

Three people were taken to the hospital after an accident near Camp Atterbury.

The accident happened on Hospital Road, near Stone Arch Road, just before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses told police that a vehicle driven by Tanya S. Beatty, 22, Columbus, crossed the center line, striking the side of one vehicle and then hitting another head on. A vehicle behind the two that were struck was damaged by debris in the road, according to the report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

Beatty told police she couldn’t remember the accident and had been awake since 2 a.m., the report said.

She complained of a bruise on her head.

Barbi J. Crabb, 35, Morgantown, and Brandon W. Lee, 33, Trafalgar, both complained of leg pain.

All three were taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital, where they were treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
