Amity Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a bike ride benefit for Franklin Relay for Life on Saturday.
The Burning Cancer Down rides by Team Amity Fire & Rescue 31 will leave at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. from the fire station, 3274 South 550 East, Franklin.
The ride will have 10-, 19- and 54-mile options, and all will include tours of Johnson County. County fire departments are all participating. The shorter trips leave at 10 a.m. A barbecue lunch by Sugar Creek Smokers will follow the ride.
Helmets are required. The fee is $30 per participant.
