Greenwood library hosting exhibition on Quran

The Indiana chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association will host an exhibition of the Quran on Saturday.

The exhibition will be available for viewing from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Greenwood Public Library (Room B), 310 S. Meridian St., Greenwood.

The purpose of the exhibition is to provide local residents with an introduction to Islam and identify commonalities between Islam and the other major religions of the world, while helping to educate and dispel myths and misunderstandings about the religion.

The exhibition is part of a 2016 national effort by Imam Faran Rabbani taking place in more than 60 towns across the United States.Â
