Construction on Interstate 65 will require lanes to be closed today and Friday.
Lanes will need to be closed for periods of time on both days on the bridge over Main Street in Greenwood, while crews continue work to rebuild the bridge and widen the interstate to three lanes in both directions between Greenwood and Franklin.
A crossover, which routes northbound traffic around construction of the bridge over Main Street, also will be moved a half-mile south on Thursday night, according to a news release from the Indiana Department of Transportation. Traffic will be rerouted while crews construct an acceleration and deceleration lane and ramp at the Main Street bridge, the release said.
