Musicians compete in state events

Local high school musicians from across the county competed in state finals during the weekend.

Two Franklin Community High School choirs, advanced women’s Bella Voce choir and advanced mixed Signature Sound choir, both placed seventh in their division at the Indiana State School Music Association state choir finals.

A choir from Whiteland Community High School and a concert band from Center Grove High School also competed at the state finals.
