Report made at Franklin police department, 2801 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 11:51 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a handgun stolen from a residence in the 1500 block of Churchill Road.
800 block of Windstar Boulevard: Police responded at 11:47 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft of sunglasses, a CD and multi-tool knife from an unlocked vehicle.

4300 block of West County Line Road, Greenwood: Police responded at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday to a report of batteries stolen from a cable box.
