Police are looking for a suspect who they say stole a car from a Center Grove area home.
The vehicle was found in Indianapolis less than 9 hours later.
Early Sunday morning, a man stole a white 2015 Nissan Altima from the driveway of a home located on Buckmoor Parkway in the Buckmoor Manor subdivision off of State Road 135, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Surveillance footage from the home’s security system shows the thief walking up the driveway just before 3 a.m. and getting in the car, which was left unlocked with the key inside, according to the report.
The footage then shows the thief driving away.
Police in Marion County found the car sometime Sunday morning, according to the report.
