Media: Oil paintings, multi-media pieces and epoxy resin works.

Style: Florals, portraits and colorful resin work inspired by the biblical Book of Genesis.

What drew you toward that style of art?

“I like to do a lot of different things. I’ll do one thing, then I have to break loose and do something different. And I told you before, I want to make art that is uplifting. That’s behind almost all of the work I do.”

What do you have planned for the open house?

“I have a workshop at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. I’m going to be making a (resin piece), so I’ll be mixing up all of the epoxy and pouring and using the heat gun. Then, it’ll have to sit still for 24 hours. It will be quite the process. I’m also going to have a panel of 12-inch pieces, all of one picture. It’s going to be a big project. I have a lot of other things that I’m working on.”
