First block of East Adams Street: Police responded at 10:42 p.m. Thursday to a report of a U.S. flag that was torn down from a porch.

1900 block of Northwood Plaza: Police responded at 12:47 p.m. Thursday to a report of identify theft.

Thefts

1000 block of Ventura Court: Police responded at 8:55 a.m. Thursday to a report of theft of a bicycle.

1600 block of Franklin Place Court: Police responded at 5:51 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen vehicle.

Walmart, 2125 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 10:32 a.m. Thursday to a report of shoplifting.

1100 block of Westminster Row: Police responded at 1:15 a.m. Friday to a report of battery. A woman was arrested.

Thefts

Meijer, 150 Marlin Drive: Police responded at 5:30 p.m. Thursday to a report of shoplifting. Two adults were arrested.

DSW Shoe Warehouse, 723 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 4:12 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

1400 block of Curry Road: Police responded at 4:12 p.m. Thursday to a report of a missing handgun taken out of a safe.

Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 2:07 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft. An arrest was made. The suspect was released on a summons to appear in court on a charge of conversion.

Fraud

Report made at Johnson County jail, 1091 Hospital Road, Franklin: Police responded at 11:31 a.m. Thursday to a resident’s report of a phone scam in which a caller claimed one of her family members was going to be arrested for dodging grand jury duty, and that to avoid jail and fines, she had to wire the person $1,500.

4900 block of Pebble Court, Franklin: Police responded at 9:06 a.m. Thursday to a report of a phone scam in which the victim was contacted by an unknown person instructing the resident to send $2,000 in pre-paid debit cards to release the victim’s granddaughter from jail in another state. The victim believed the person on the phone and sent the money. It was later found to be a hoax.

Joshua Benjamin Crossley, 24, 723 S. Harrison, Apt. 2, Shelbyville; arrested on a charge of contempt of court; held on $700 bond.

Marquis Xavier Blackshear, 22, 4265 Burkhart Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; held on $300 bond.

Andre Buergelin, 20, 1121 Southwood Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of possession of paraphernalia, possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol by a minor, possession of marijuana and carrying an unlawful handgun; released on $4,000 bond.

Christopher Adair, 42, 8649 S. Tibbs, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; held on $350 bond.

Natasha Lynn Radabaugh, 32, 4429 Lynwood Court, Apt. 7, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving without a license without ever receiving one; held on $1,000 bond.
