Rise to challenge for Franklin parks

Families, nonprofit organizations and student groups are invited to clean up Franklin parks on Saturday.

The annual clean community challenge, which asks volunteers to spend one day per year sprucing up local parks, will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The majority of the clean-up will be done at Blue Heron Park, west of U.S. 31, and the urban forest, south of downtown Franklin.

To volunteer, contacts parks employee Holly Johnson at 317-736-3689 or [email protected].
