GREENWOOD
Ronald S. Sorley, 77, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016.
He was born Nov. 8, 1938, in Beech Grove to the late Edwin and Virginia Riley Vanat.
Ron owned and operated Ron’s Haircuttin’ Place in Greenwood for 55 years.
He is survived by a companion, Taunya Sorley; son, Jeff Sorley; two brothers, Riley Sorley and Bob Vanat; six grandchildren, Eric, Taylor and Austin Sorley, Staci Johnson, Brandi Vozos Robards, Rana Turk; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Scott Sorley; and a brother, David Sorley.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Calling will start at 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood.
