The Johnson County Community Foundation is seeking local artists to help create public artwork in the community.
The new Color the County mural program is aimed at beautifying public spaces in the county with public art.
Talented or aspiring artists are invited to submit a design for Franklin, Bargersville or Greenwood, the areas that have been selected as the first sites for the project. The selected artists will join Gordon Strain, Franklin College art professor, and the community foundation to design and create the murals.
