FRANKLIN
Esther M. (Miller) Berry, 98, of Franklin, and formerly of Whiteland, died Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Franklin United Methodist Community.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol Long (David) of Franklin, Bernadette George (Don) of Indianapolis and JoAnn Young (James) of Memphis, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; three step-grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Berry; and son, Robert J. Berry Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Saturday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian St., Greenwood. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary, 300 S. U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin and from 10 a.m. until the service time on Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301, or at dav.org; however, flowers are welcome.
