BARGERSVILLE
Estel Idora (Park) Reynolds, 90, of Bargersville, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation in Franklin.
She was born July 25, 1925, in the Kinder community of White River Township, Johnson County, to Myrl and Annabelle (Barger) Park. She married Billy F. Reynolds on Aug. 6, 1947, at Bluff Creek Christian Church in Greenwood,
He preceded her in death Jan. 28, 2016.
She was a 1943 graduate of Center Grove High School. She was a lifelong member of Bluff Creek Christian Church in Greenwood and also was a member of Northside Christ Church in Englewood, Florida, where she and her husband spent many winters. She was dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She also was an avid garage sale attendee.
She had been an administrative assistant for Pinkerton Security. She previously had worked for Farm Bureau Co-op in Indianapolis, Arvin in Greenwood and Camp Atterbury.
Survivors include her children, Lydia A. Stout of Bargersville, Sarah M. “Sally” Bolen (Darryl) of Greenville, Illinois, and Billy M. Reynolds (Jesslyn) of Morgantown; six grandchildren, Jody Bridges (Scott) of Morgantown, Joseph “Randy” Stout (Linda) of Branch, Michigan, Sybil Bell (Bryan) of Sneedville, Tennessee, Sadie Arney (Mike) of Morgantown, Kirk Bolen (Amanda) of Bell Air, Maryland, and Suzanne Buschjost (Matthew) of St. Charles, Missouri; 15 great grandchildren; one nephew, Jerry Park of Stuart, Florida; two nieces, June Haymaker and Margaret Parsley, both of Franklin; and great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Kenneth Park and infant Charles Park; and a son-in-law, Joseph.
The Revs. Eric Allen and Stan Icenogle will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Monday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Bluff Creek Cemetery in Greenwood.
