Tires slashed on county vehicles

At least one vandal slashed tires on four county government vehicles, and police are investigating.

All four vehicles were parked near county government offices in downtown Franklin, and the damage was found Tuesday morning, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. On one vehicle, all four tires were slashed, and one tire was slashed on each of the other three vehicles, the report said.

After a similar incident last year, the county installed security cameras in the parking lots, the report said.

Investigators are reviewing the video, the report said.
