Crews to fix potholes on Interstate 65

Expect roadwork on Interstate 65 tonight for the second night in a row.

Crews are repairing potholes and bad pavement that required an immediate fix, according to a news release from the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Beginning at 10 p.m., crews will close the left lanes in each direction to remove bad pavement on the interstate around the Main Street exit in Greenwood.

At midnight, crews will bring in equipment to put down new pavement, which will require traffic to be sent off I-65 using the on- and off-ramps, the release said.

Work is expected to be finished by 6 a.m. Friday.

Crews did similar work on I-65 between Whiteland and Franklin on Wednesday night.
