To the editor:
I am a Franklin resident, and when you talk about new business for the new strip centers (“Shopping center proposed for Franklin,” March 25), I would like to see a Joann Fabrics, Michael’s or a Hobby Lobby built. As a seamstress, knitter and a quilter, it is almost impossible to get items needed for any of these lines of hand work. I must go to Greenwood or Indianapolis to purchase items I need for my work.
I believe there are many women and teachers who need craft articles and supplies of all kinds that these stores supply for their homes and schools to support such a store in Franklin.
